Modules
Each module is a series of online workshops, and supported by pre-work in our easy-to-use learning management system. Attending the workshops alongside your cohort gives you an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the theory and models by putting them into practice in breakout rooms.
Each module builds upon the knowledge acquired in the prior modules, so that you gain confidence as a coach as you move through the programme.
Module 1 - Introduction to Coaching Conversations
4 live workshops (2 hours per run) | 4 hours self-directed learning – Total length – 12 hours
By the end of module one, you will learn and apply the core executive coaching skills and frameworks needed to start building your executive coaching practice.
Module 2 - Coaching Tools and Techniques
4 live workshops (2 hours per run) | 4 hours self-directed learning – Total length – 12 hours
Building upon Module 1, you will learn how to hold your clients accountable, set effective contracts with them, and master advanced coaching techniques to enhance your work with executive and leadership clients.
Module 3 - Career Coaching
2 live workshops (2 hours per run) | 4 hours self-directed learning – Total length – 8 hours
Every leader needs help in their career journey at some point – we equip you with the tools necessary to work with executives to identify the next steps to furthering a successful career.
Module 4 - Coaching at Work and in Organisations
4 live workshops (2 hours per run) | 4 hours self-directed learning – Total length – 12 hours
Understand how to navigate coaching assignments, prepare coaching topics for leaders, and effectively manage organisational structures and politics. Gain practical insights and strategies to thrive as both an internal and external executive coach.
You will become a more confident executive coach after our Level 1 ICF Coach Training
- Master the essential coaching skills and core executive coaching models to effectively support and develop senior leaders, driving strategic success in their roles.
- Be familiar with the ICF framework of core competencies and be able to apply an ethical coaching practice with executive clients especially in organisations
- Gain expertise in establishing clear, strategic goals for executive coaching assignments, delivering impactful feedback, and holding leaders accountable for their development and performance.
- Be skilled and empowered to take on advanced tools and techniques to enhance leaders’ emotional intelligence, empowering them to inspire and drive meaningful change within their organisations.

Entry Requirements
Our programmes are open to newcomers to coaching and to those with prior coaching experience, who are willing to deepen their knowledge.
We welcome applicants from a wide range of educational backgrounds and professional experience. A good level of English is required.
Before admission, you will need to fill in the application form and have a short virtual conversation with a lead facilitator.
Graduation Requirements
Once you complete your assessments, you will graduate and become a Bailey Balfour certified coach.
To become an ICF-accredited coach, you will have to apply for their accreditation membership and take the credentialing examination.
